We offer board and trains for all dogs, not just ones from our program. We will work on a variety of skills, such as settling in the home, social skills with people and dogs, loose leash walking, basic obedince, public outings and any other little thing! At this time we do not offer training for human or dog aggression, and will take reactivie dogs on a case by case basis. If we do not feel your dog will be a good fit for our program, we will refer you to a list of other trainers we trust! We will require all dogs be up to date on vaccines and a negative fecal to enter our board and train program.

One hour lesson to work on your individual needs. Working on basic skills such as sit, down, stay, walking on leash to working on your brewery and patio skills! Either in your home; a local park or your favorite brewery! You will have weekly homework I will send the evening of your lesson, this will be required to have be done in order to make forward progress. We will often ask for a mid week video clip to make sure you are applying the correct skills on your own.

If we are meeting at you favorite brewery, patio or home there will a further than 15 miles from Shafer .25¢/mile fee added to your lesson.

If you are headed out of town and need someone to watch your furry friend we also offer boarding on a small scale! Your dog will join us in our home, have their own private bedroom, one on one attention and of course be well loved. Pets must be up to date on their vaccines, and we do not take human aggression cases. We only take one family at a time for boarding at this time.

In addition to traditional boarding we do also offer drop in visits. This is where your pet stays in your home, and we come to you! This is an excellent choice if your pet doesn’t do the best traveling or gets anxious in new environments. With drop ins we go for a 30 minute window in the morning, and a 30 minute to 1 hour visits in the evening depending on what you choose! We do also offer mid day potty let outs for your pet. There is a 15 mile restriction with this service.

We know potty training can be your least favorite thing when it comes to your new potty. We’re here to make it easier for you! We will potty train your puppy for you! Whether the puppy from our program, or someone else, we will keep your puppy until 12 weeks of age. If you are interested in this program your puppy will come to us immediately upon pick up (or just stay extra long), if you wait there will unfortunately be a slight upcharge. We require a 2 week notice prior to starting this program, I’m addition to potty training your new family member will learn the basics to being an excellent canine citizen, your puppy will be seen by our excellent veterinary staff to get vaccines, and exams. Your dog will also receive a bath for any time they have an accident. Your puppy will also work on basic pet skills like loose leash walking, sit, down, stay place ect. If your puppy doesn’t quite have it down by the end of our 4 week extensive program we will access if you would like your puppy to stay for additional time ($200/week) or you would like to take your puppy home. Most puppies will be 95% potty trained by this point! Just make sure you stick to the schedule, we will touch base for what your typical schedule is so I can get your puppy started there!

If you have an extremely “dirty” dog (you’ve tried everything on your own and need a break for your mental health for awhile) we can also help you here, this will start at $4,000, we will evaluate and touch base before your dog is dropped off to see what we think will be necessary. With extreme cases we cannot guarantee the problem will be 100% fixed but our goal is to make it better. Sometimes genetics can play into this so it is extremely important to make sure your puppies mother herself is a nice clean dog!

We also offer bathing services to take one thing off your plate! We only offer bath and blow out services, we do not offer a full groom. What is included is a bath in high quality shampoo and conditioner (we most often use Natures Specialties and Chris Christenson), a drying spray, blow out with a high velocity dryer, ear cleaning and a nail trim.

True Dehed is an additional $20 dollars. With a deshed there still will be some coat being dropped after the service due to the hair follicles being stimulated but majority of the coat will be removed during the service.
